In a new book, Susan Day, will look at “The Top 10 Things Happy Grandparents Never Regret Doing” and how these things have an impact on the lives of children; in particular their grandchildren.

Never before in the history of our world have grandparents had so much wealth and influence. They are also incredibly healthy and willing to give back to the community. Most are also very well educated and many read for pleasure.

Grandparents influencing their grandchildren’s well-being

We all know that grandparents can have a great influence when it comes to baking and nurturing their families. They take a lot of care ensuring that their grandchildren have enough knitted jumpers and warm socks for winter, and are slathering them with sunblock in summer.

However, many more grandparents are taking a more pro-active role in their grandchildren’s lives. In particular, they are making sure that their grandchildren have a great education. And, if any generation knows about the importance of having a good education it is grandparents.

It is said that it takes a village to raise a child, and in our modern times with so many wasteful distractions, children need as much guidance as possible. Thank goodness many of them are lucky enough to have such caring and dedicated grandparents.
